NGARRA’s Uganda Village project is a community-based initiative aimed at empowering youth in a remote village in Uganda through the transformative power of photography and storytelling.
There’s a quiet power in the way we choose to shop, in the decisions we make about who we support, how we support, and why we support. Every purchase carries a story, a ripple of connection that moves outward. Through our Shop2Give Marketplace, each choice you make is more than a transaction – it’s an act of relation.
Every piece you bring into your life, every print, every book, every item crafted by the hands of the communities we work with directly contributes to something bigger. 100% of all profits flow directly back to the very places where these stories began, fuelling programs, supporting livelihoods, and creating a cycle of positive change in the lives of the artists, their families and their communities.
It’s not just about what you take home; it’s about what you give in exchange. That is why we Shop2Give.
To open the circle wide and ensure everyone has a place around the fire, we’ve embraced a Pay What You Can model. For us, it’s about acknowledging the different capacities we each bring and making space for everyone to participate.
For every item in the Shop2Give Marketplace you have the ability to adjust the listed price by 10%, 15%, or 20%, creating flexibility that reflects the diversity of the lives we lead.
For those who can give more, your contribution helps balance the scales, creating opportunities for others who may have less to give financially, but still want to support, take part, and engage in the project. Every dollar of profit flows directly into the projects and initiatives we’re implementing across the globe, fuelling the work that uplifts communities, preserves culture, and empowers the next generation to carry their stories forward. Each purchase brings you into relation, creating embassy between you and the artist, and their community. Each purchase is an act of support, where each contribution strengthens the whole, ensuring that the work we do is accessible, impactful, and sustainable for everyone involved.
We wanted to offer a flexible pricing model that empowers individuals to contribute to a cause that is less about their financial capacity, and more about desire to make a positive impact. In the checkout, you can use any of the following codes to change the price of your cart.

If you are in a position you can, and you believe in the cause, you can Add A Donation. This is your chance to go above and beyond by providing an extra contribution to support a project and the people, making an even greater impact on the communities we work with.
The prices we place on items in the marketplace are reflective of the value that they have not only for the community, but for us, and for you. We believe these items are priced accurately in order to provide the maximum amount of support for the artist and community, whilst giving you value for money for your purchase.
