Nestled against the golden sands of the Giza Plateau, our day with the students unfolded amidst the towering Pyramids of Egypt. The air hummed with the whispers of ancient history as we explored the architectural marvels that have stood the test of time. Against the backdrop of the iconic Sphinx, the students delved into the mysteries of the pyramids, their imaginations ignited by the stories of pharaohs and the secrets buried within these colossal structures. It was a day of awe, discovery, and shared wonder as the students, with eyes wide open, immersed themselves in the living history of their homeland.
In the shadow of the grand Luxor Temple, we embarked on a day of exploration and connection. The ancient stones echoed with the laughter and footsteps of young minds encountering the relics of a bygone era. The intricate hieroglyphs and towering pillars served as the backdrop for a transformative experience, where the students, with a blend of reverence and excitement, connected with the living legacy of their ancestors. Luxor, with its timeless charm, became a classroom without walls, imparting lessons that transcended textbooks.
Every purchase of these captivating photographs from our workshop holds the power to transform lives. The funds generated from the sale will be directed to the very school in Cairo that welcomed us into its community. This initiative is more than just acquiring art; it’s a commitment to education and empowerment.
The proceeds will contribute to scholarships for underprivileged children, offering them the chance to access the education they deserve. By investing in these images, you’re not just bringing home a piece of Egypt’s rich history; you’re actively participating in creating a brighter future for young minds. Your support echoes through the corridors of learning, ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to explore, dream, and build a better tomorrow.
Building upon the photography component, selected participants will have the opportunity to further develop their storytelling skills through filmmaking. Under the guidance of experienced filmmakers and mentors, the children will create short films that bring their stories to life. The films may explore various themes such as identity, connection to land, cultural traditions, dreams, and challenges faced by Indigenous children.
Children will be provided with photography equipment, guidance, and mentorship to capture their surroundings, cultural practices, and the things that hold significance in their lives. Through photography workshops and mentorship, the children will learn technical skills and storytelling techniques to express their unique perspectives visually.
The culmination of the collaboration will be an exhibition and showcase event where the photographs and films created by the Indigenous children will be displayed and screened. This exhibition will serve as a platform to celebrate the children’s talents and share their stories with a wider audience. The event will be a space for cultural exchange, fostering understanding, and promoting dialogue.

When we started to see how this project was using the power of connection, collaboration, and creativity to make a meaningful impact around the world – we saw the possibilities of what we could accomplish, so we began to expand.
Our programs span various initiatives, each aimed at empowering communities, preserving indigenous cultures, and fostering cross-cultural understanding. Whether it is the Firestick Mentoring Program that connects young talents in communities with accomplished artists from across the globe, or our Schools for Schools program, where we inspire the spirit of social entrepreneurship in students empowering them to raise funds and build schools in remote communities, or our film project in collaboration with The VA Network that goes beyond still images and uses film to capture stories and experiences, creating immersive documentaries made by the youth of the community that showcase the richness of indigenous traditions and lore, we even explore new technologies in what we are cheekily calling (IN)FTs – Indigenous Non-Fungible Tokens, where the art becomes a force for positive change, supporting communities and their aspirations in a way no one ever thought possible.
As our program portfolio expands, they all have a common thread: collectively embodying our commitment to transforming lives, bridging cultures, and building a brighter future together as one.
lets have a chat abotu the tyype of impact you want to have, with ngarra, with our projects or our partners. there are endless possibilities and we want to work with you.
